Out of Many is a place to talk about humans and how we interact with each other, with a focus on how we can better deal with complex and large-scale social situations. Topics of particular interest include: open communities, moral psychology, network science, social ecosystems, political philosophy, the history of communication and journalism, computer science, and anthropology. I prefer a cross-disciplinary approach, which means I am often out of my depth. 😉
There are four main categories of posts. Quick Thoughts is for short and speculative musings, stuff that I just want to jot down and open up for comments. Blog Posts are more elaborate but still informal. When I get a set of ideas fleshed out, they may become an Essay. Errata are mostly corrections to previous posts worth highlighting.
